Description

The Slik PRO CF-733 is a full-size tripod extending to 66 inches and folds down to a compact 22.6 inches. It weighs 2.9 lbs and can support up to 33.1 lbs.

The 8-layer carbon fiber legs have 3 sections that quickly deploy and lock using 2 twist locks that are easy to operate with or without gloves. The legs Anti-Rotational System (ARS) is crafted into the leg locks and does not permit individual leg sections to rotate inside each other.

Each leg also has an independent leg-angle lock on the collar. This allows the legs to be set to one of 3 angles, varying the height, stance, and stability of the tripod.

The center column has 4 important features:

  • The thread post is reversible so it can be set to 3/8” or ¼ 20” male threads allowing it to work with any type of head without the need for an adapter. It takes less than 2 minutes to change and all tools and instructions are included with the tripod.
  • The column can be separated into two sections by simply unscrewing the bottom section. This helps reduce weight when needed but more importantly allows you to set the tripod to the lowest possible position off the ground.
  • The column can be reversed so the head can be positioned between the legs instead of on top. This lets you position the camera very close to the ground or provide a straight down view of your subject.
  • Integrated, retractable hook at the bottom of the center column to hang your camera bag for increased stability on uneven terrain or windy conditions.

The tripod includes rubber feet that can be removed and replaced with steel spiked feet (sold separately)

The tripod is solid, lightweight, and can be deployed/adjusted rather quickly. I use it as a shooting rest and for holding optics.

Light and sturdy This unit is both lightweight and sturdy. I am using it mostly for glassing, and I can easily stand up and use the tripod. I’m around 6’2” anI highly recommend this.

Carbon Fiber PRO CF-733

Better Than Expected The 733 is the 4th tripod I have bought in the last 2 years. I am really hard on them and use them in lots of bad conditions including sand and salt water. It is going on 6 months and it is working better than I expected. The only issue so far is that the legs start to stick a little especially after using it at the beach but I am able to easy dissasemble, clean and put the legs back together without a problem.

I can shoot standing I bought the 733 over the 634 tripod my friend has because I wanted a tripod with a little more height and I am glad I did. There is a weight difference but the 733 supports more weight and now I can shoot standing without hunching over. Great tripod.
