Great customer service rep, who helped me try to fix my older tripod. Unfortunately the parts did not work, so I had to replace the whole tripod. Communication was excellent and timely!

OVERVIEW
Description
Value is what made the SLIK U8000 popular. This tripod matches well with entry level DSLR camera and mirriless cameras. The 59 inch maximum height puts it at eye-level when it’s fully extended.
A smooth moving “fluid effect” pan head with one handle operation makes moving and positioning the camera quick and simple. The nicely sized quick release plate makes attaching the camera to the tripod even faster while speed release lever locks makes set up a breeze.
The SLIK U8000 is the perfect value tripod for anyone that uses a high-end digital point and shoot, mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (ILC) or light-weight DSLR with kit lens.

Lost my camera plate had it about 2 weeks and lost the quick release camera plate and had to buy another one. They should include 2 in the box.
It's aluminum!!! I have had so many tripods like this and almost all of them are plastic at this price point and lower. This one is aluminum and is made really well. This is a great tripod for the money.
Great tripod for money This is a really good tripod for under $50. I like that it is easy to set up and it doesnt feel like it will fall over like other cheaper ones I've owned. Quality Japanese product!
Good for video camera Use it for my Canon video camera mostly and it does a good job.
