The PRO 340 BHX comes with the Slik PBH-425DS ball head with Arca Swiss compatible quick release. Capable of holding 6.6lbs, this head has an easy grip ball lock lever and a tension adjustment knob to fine-tune the drag on the ball movement. There is a separate panoramic lock on the base, locking the level or angle of the ball but allowing the camera to pan.  There are also 360 degree markings around the base for taking photos to stitch together for panoramic shots.
